Organic massage oil blend:
Skin absorption of organic essential oils and massage:
The skin is a complex organ, it provides protection for the body, regulates temperature, and allows toxins to be released through the sweat glands. Our skin is a direct interference with the outside world and actual environment whether this is hot, cold, wet, dry, sharp, soft, rough or smooth.
When applying organic massage oil or organic blend to the skin, the vegetable carrier oil stays in the upper epidermal layer, helping to moisturize the outer surface of the skin. This is because the molecules in the organic carrier oil are too big to be absorbed any deeper. Organic essential oils also have highly beneficial effects on the upper skin surface but, because they contain much smaller molecules, they are also absorbed through the epidermis, down into the dermal layer and into the thin blood vessels just under the skin. From here they are carried into the circulation.
Respiratory effects:
A full body organic aromatherapy massage treatment will last for one hour. The psychological benefits of organic essential oil molecules can travel into the respiratory system and cause a deepening of the breath as the airways open or dilate and the lung inflate to fuller capacity than normal. Breath via to life and deep breathing has many beneficial effects –it improves the experience of relaxation, nourishes cells with oxygen and improves vitality and well –being.
Once the organic essential oils are in the circulatory system, they will travel around the body for several hours before being excreted, mainly via the kidney, but also through the sweat or, in tiny amount, in the breath. Massage is a continuation of the sense of touch, but is a more precise and deliberate way of applying organic essential oils.
Organic Massage in the old times:
The use if organic massage oil is as old as humankind, ancient Egyptian tomb paintings show different types of organic massage to the face, the feet and the torso, and it is known that the pharaohs and members of the high nobility were massaged daily. The Ancient Greeks were also aware fof the value of massage as a healing tool.
Massage today:
For centuries many cultures have used touch and massage to help and heal humankind from babyhood and continue to do so to this day.
