The requirements for obtaining Organic Certified Tea Tree oil are as follows:
Product (Organic Tea Tree oil) - Certified Organic Tea Tree oil must first be grown and processed without the use of synthetic chemicals, fertilisers, or GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms). This is an Ethical method of farming.

In order for a Tea Tree oil to be organically certified, the farmer has to achieve a farming system that is compliant with the relevant requirement. Organic production systems require an ongoing commitment to organic production practices. Within three years, the Pre-certification and Conversion to Organic requirements will have been fulfilled.
