The use of Essential oils (organic essential oils) were very common among the ancient civilization such as ancient Babylonia, Egypt and China. In addition to that, the use of ssential oils (organic essential oil) was common in the 16th century.
Sir Paracelsus von Hohenheim a Swiss physician and an influential figure of the 16th century (1493-1541) was one of the first physicians who used aromatherapy and organic essential oils to treat various ailments. He also was one of the first physicians whom identified and named the effective component of organic essential oils.
By the 20th century things took a different turn which confined the use of organic essential oils almost entirely to the use of perfumes and fragrant, cosmetics and food flavorings, while their use in pharmaceutical preparations had declined damatically.
In the 21st century there has been a hype about natural health, herbal and plant based beauty products and alternative medicines, so as a result Eessential oils and organic essential oils are making a come back not only due to their aromatic properties but also due to the medicinal properties that organic essential oils possesses. Our skin has its own fighting mechanism and a protective layer that keep all bacteria, fungi and any other harmful organisms from penetrating the skin and entering into the blood stream The use of commercial and synthetic antiseptic agents can damage the skin by depleting the skin’s good bacteria and its protective barrier, consequently leading an increased risk of transmission of pathogenic micro organisms from the skin surface into the deeper skin layers and into the blood stream which could lead to various infections. Recent studies have shown that if you rinse your mouth with few drops of Organic Tea Tree Oil mixed with water twice a day it will inhibit the growth of bacteria and plaque preventing gum disease and gum bleeding.
