Organic Dead Sea Salt Bathing Vs Ocean Sea Salt

There is a significant difference in salinity when comparing Organic Dead Sea Salt to Ocean Sea Salt. Organic Dead Sea Salt has higher salinity than Ocean Sea Salt which means that Dead Sea Salt has higher concentration of dissolved salt content in a body of water.

In a controlled experiment Dead Sea Salt (Organic Dead Sea Salt) inhabited the production of Psoriatic Keratinocytes (which is the major component of the epidermis) and Psoriatic Keratinocytes and also inhibit the antigen –presenting capacity of Langerhans cells (dendritic cells are abundant in epidermis). This was due to the high concentration of Magnesium Bromide (MgBr2) and Magnesium Chloride in Dead Sea Salt.

The use of Organic Dead Sea Salt & Skin Disorders:

Organic Dead Sea Salt bath – In another experiment conducted to compare skin hydration between Organic Dead Sea Salt and the usual tap water. After 6 weeks of treatment the results were as follows, the group who used Organic Dead Sea Salt increased their skin hydration dramatically, however the group who used tap water had minor-non skin hydration.

Due to the high concentration of Magnesium found in the Dead Sea Salt, regular bathing with Dead Sea Salt significantly moisturizes the skin. Skin hydration plays an essential role in preventing the onset of eczema, if the skin is not moisturized on regular bases it will lose its elasticity which can lead to roughness of the skin and eventually develops eczema and followed by bacterial infections.

Skin roughness – The use of Organic Dead Sea Salt solution and/or the use of Organic Dead Sea Salt bath reduce skin roughness and leads to a soft and well hydrated skin. Experiments have found that the use of Dead Sea Salt reduced the roughness of the skin after only three weeks of treatments, and after 6 weeks there was 40% reeducation.

The use of Organic Dead Sea Salt to treat skin inflammation– The use of Dead Sea Salt have shown a significant decrease in skin inflammation (redness of the skin) after 6 weeks of treatment when compared to tap water skin inflammation remained unchanged after 6 weeks. The use of Organic Dead Sea Salt solution reduced inflammation and softened the skin, and it also improved the barrier function of the epidermis.

Atopic eczema & Psoriasis– If you suffer from Atopic dermatitis (skin disease characterized by chronic inflammation of the skin) use a very small amount of Organic Dead Sea Salt (5% solution of Organic Dead Sea Salt) to reduce Atopic dermatitis.
